Recent and continual changes to governing legislation require building owners to ensure that all ESM within their buildings are maintained to the appropriate Australian Standards, in both frequency and content.
BSGM can assist by conducting an audit of your building, provide a schedule and operating manual of the ESM contained within and specify the level and frequency for which they need to be maintained.
BSGM can also assist building owners where the responsible local authority has issued a Building Notice for non-complying ESM.
Our services also include the preparation of annual ESM reports before the anniversary date. This ensures that all statutory responsibilities have been satisfied prior to any inspection from the Municipal Building Surveyor or Chief Officer from the responsible fire authority.
We currently carry out the quarterly, half yearly and annual inspection of some of the passive ESM for a number of clients. These clients range from large multiple property owners to individual property owners.
